Authenticity and honesty are at the heart of each and every dish we create at La Bottega del Buon Caffè.
Our Michelin-starred restaurant offers an innovative and inspiring ‘Farm to Plate’ experience where guests can enjoy the very freshest ingredients harvested from our own kitchen gardens, delivered daily from our countryside farm and estate, Borgo Santo Pietro.
Respecting our Florentine location, our seasonal menus are designed to reflect Tuscany’s unique gastronomic heritage and vibrant culinary culture. Artisan butchers supply the kitchen with exceptional cuts of locally-reared meats, whilst the very freshest fish are delivered straight from the Mediterranean.
La Bottega del Buon Caffè combines classic Florentine style with a relaxed sense of elegance and sophistication.
Designed by renowned international designer Jeanette Thottrup, the restaurant interior seamlessly combines the very finest elements of both classic and contemporary design. Alongside the famous River Arno, La Bottega del Buon Caffè also offers al-fresco dining beneath the medieval tower of San Niccolò.
With a vibrant atmosphere and stylish décor, La Bottega del Buon Caffè is the perfect venue in which to enjoy exceptional food and the very finest Tuscan wines. The philosophy is simple – to serve the very finest locally grown food, exquisitely prepared and beautifully presented within a relaxing and elegant environment.
La Bottega del Buon Caffè has an exceptional wine list curated by our respected Sommelier Silvia Panetto.
La Bottega's outstanding collection of more than 1,100 labels showcases prestigious and boutique wines from Tuscany, Italy, and all around the world, where big names sit alongside artisan producers hand-picked for their ability to faithfully reflect the local terroir. Our cellar highlights notable Tuscan wines, such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Bolgheri, Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico, alongside labels selected from the length and breadth of the Italian peninsula, ranging from the Langhe in Piemonte to Mount Etna in Sicily. An impressive variety of foreign wines also makes an appearance, such as the cream of French Champagne and Bordeaux Rive Gauche, and sought-after Spanish, Australian and US labels.
To reflect the philosophy of five-star dining at its very best, La Bottega del Buon Caffè produces a large percentage of its fresh ingredients at its countryside farm and estate of Borgo Santo Pietro, located outside of Siena.
Our unique and extensive kitchen gardens provide the fresh, flavoursome and bountiful produce around which our seasonal menus are proudly created, with enough fruit and vegetables to still have enough left over to make Borgo ‘marmellate’ jams, jellies, preserves and sauces, herb gardens that provide an endless array of flavours and aromas, and honeybee apiaries for our very own delicious Tuscan honey.
